Rich spent the first part of his career as a news editor in Nashville.
He soon moved on to freelance work for Arista, Mercury, MCA, RCA, Sony, Warner Bros. and other labels cutting on everything from music videos to concert films. He also edited series for The Outdoor Channel, The Nashville Network and Great American Country.
He moved to Los Angeles in 2005 to pursue work in the motion picture industry. He has worked as First Assistant Editor on The Tillamook Treasure, Road House 2 and the Eddie Award Nominated Darfur Now.
He is currently developing the educational series "Astrokids."
Sherman Brothers Story is proudly, his first feature as editor.
Evirs earned his bachelor's degree in Radio/TV Productions from Middle Tennessee State University.
